Photographed and artistically finished by South African photographer Shirene Briell, Wonderland Secret brings the quiet beauty of Cape flora into contemporary interiors, boutique hotels, wellness retreats and private homes.

Created from Shirene’s original fine-art photography, this atmospheric botanical wallpaper mural has a soft, immersive quality. Delicate lilies rise through dusty rose, muted plum, warm neutrals and gentle shadow, giving the image a feeling of fantasy.

The softened floral forms and subtle shifts in colour sit beautifully alongside natural stone, warm timber, brass, linen, velvet and contemporary furniture. Its muted palette works particularly well in interiors that feel refined, relaxed and thoughtfully designed.

A Botanical Wallpaper Mural for Quiet, Luxurious Spaces

Wonderland Secret works beautifully creating a striking feature wall in a reception area or entrance space, where a softer and more unexpected botanical statement is wanted.

The colour palette moves through dusky pink, faded rose, soft olive, warm taupe and gentle neutral tones. The lilies appear almost suspended within the image, creating a sense of stillness while keeping the overall mood delicate and serene.

Part of the Wonderland Series, this work explores the more dreamlike fantasy land of nature. Rather than presenting flowers in a traditional botanical way, the image invites the viewer into something softer and more imagined, a quiet moment that feels almost like stepping into fairyland.

The mural can be used as a single statement wall or incorporated into a larger interior scheme. It’s tonal quality makes it easy to pair with blush, sage, muted green, dusty rose, cream, stone and warm metallic finishes.

Each Wonderland Secret botanical wallpaper mural begins with Shirene’s original photography and is developed as a large-scale wall artwork. This allows the detail, movement and atmosphere of the image to become part of the architecture of the room.

Wonderland Secret is designed for interiors that need more than decoration. ‘
